Story

Having always been interested in the justice system, particularly the Supreme Court, I had the opportunity to explore this interest by joining Moot Court in my sophomore year. I love the process of analyzing case precedents and seeing how to relate or distinguish them from the case at bar. And of course, I love the speaking aspect, as I get to test my versatility during questioning. Most of all, I enjoy working with the team because everyone wants to help each other, whether that be lessening nerves or preparing for questions.

Accomplishments

I have qualified twice for Nationals and am currently 17th in the nation. I have also been a finalist at the Santa Barbara Tournament, a semifinalist at the Durham Tournament, and received multiple speaker awards.
